Sus libros más recientes son «The Blue Economy 3.0: The marriage of science, innovation and entrepreneurship creates a new business model that transforms society», y «From Deep Ecology to Blue Economy: 21 Principles of the New Business Model».

The Blue Economy 3.0: The marriage of science, innovation and entrepreneurship creates a new business model that transforms society.

The Blue Economy cites a new business model in China where novel paper production turns crushed rocks, including mining waste that has piled up over centuries into sheets for printing, writing and packaging without the use of water, without cutting down a tree, and recyclable forever. It details how thistles, considered a weed, is turned into a plastic, a lubricant and a herbicide converting an old petrochemical plant into a biorefinery.

LiFi: Communication at the speed of light and the emergence of the Internet of people.

Without light there would not be life. But light will change the world once more. In 1880 Graham Bell made—in his own words—his greatest discovery: the photophone. Bell succeeded in transmitting sound over the waves of sun light. Bell’s problem: the sun does not always shine. 125 years later French physicist Suat Topsu was able to apply Bell’s innovation to LED lighting and LiFi—Internet over light waves—was born.

LiFi is much faster. It is healthier because it does not interfere with our bodies. LiFi cannot be hacked and it does not require massive investments: the public light infrastructure already exists! Cities can save money replacing lights with LiFi enabling LED lights. LiFi also offers an opportunity to redesign online communication in the interest of the common good. While the Internet of Things is fast emerging, LiFi points the to an even more exciting future: the Internet of People.

The Plastic Solutions: The business model that works for the oceans.

We can change the role of plastics in our societies. We can redesign the ways we produce and consume plastics. The change begins with adding value. Plastic waste can be transformed into energy and cleaning up plastic pollution can lift millions out of poverty. At the same time, we can begin cleaning up the oceans of the microparticles that we can hardly see but that are everywhere. Today plastic is a problem. Plastic can be a solution too. This book presents a groundbreaking and strong business model that is supported by the power of nature.
