Silvia Leal, PhD in Sociology, is a scientific divulgator and international expert on future trends and their impact. She has managed to position herself in recent years as one of the world’s leading experts in the field of digital transformation, leadership, culture and future of employment.
Passionate about technology, Silvia Leal has been selected in the “Top 100 Women” ranking, as one of the most influential experts in Spain. In addition, it has been awarded the 2021 Inspire Award for the divulgation of artificial intelligence by the Artificial Intelligence Association.
Adviser to the European Commission on digital skills, leadership and entrepreneurship and collaborator of the “Emprende” program of RTVE, Agencia EFE, and El País. Silvia is also the author of the books “E-renovarse o morir”, “Ingenio, sexo y pasión” and recently of “No te vas a morir”, where she analyzes the impact of robotics and artificial intelligence on our personal and professional lives.
For his career he has received three important recognitions this past year: Honorary Member of the Association of Journalists, Prize for the Person Driving Change of the IMm Institute and the Postgraduate Training Promotion Award of the Spanish Association of Business Schools, highlighting in this case it has been granted unanimously.
In addition, Silvia Leal collaborates with different Business Schools such as IE Business School where she has been Director of Innovation and Technology Programs.
Currently, she collaborates with different companies such as Key Opinion Leader, designing and transmitting high-impact messages on technology, transformation and future trends, obtaining more than one million views per month.
Likewise, Silvia Leal has decided to take another step in her long professional career, by starting her new podcast ‘Trends’, the aim of which is to “generate interest in science and technology.” In this way, ‘Trends’ is a series of episodes that provide clarity, optimism and, of course, knowledge to understand the future and build the post-covid present.
